Performance Tennis Fund

We are delighted to have a small fund designated towards supporting our junior members taking that extra step in their tennis journeys!

We understand that too often in tennis price can be a barrier towards progression, and hope the support of this fund can reduce this barrier and encourage more of our juniors to partake in tennis activities outside of Market Weighton.

What can be applied for?

Applications can be made to this fund to cover 50% of costs for any of the following activities:

• Yorkshire Tennis County Training
• Yorkshire Tennis District Training
• LTA Graded Competitions

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for funding, the child must meet the following three critera:

• Be a MWLTC Member
• Regularly attend DT Tennis Coaching sessions
• Live within a 10 mile radius of Market Weighton

Funding Limits

To start with, there will be a few limits to this fund. This will be reviewed by the committee after the fund has been established for 6 months and we have a better idea on usage:

• The initial overall fund is £250.00 per year
• This is limited to £50 per child (to avoid the fund being disproportionately used by any one individual)
• These funds align to financial years for the tennis club. The tennis clubs financial year runs from 1st November – 31st October.

For the tennis club’s financial year up to 31st October 2025, the fund will be the full £250. So if your child is partaking in any of the eligible activities, please apply as soon as possible for the fund available this financial year!

To apply, you must complete the below Google Form. This gives us all the details we require to ensure the criteria has been met, and also gives you the ability to give us your bank details so we can make a swift payment to your account.
